From Five Good Minutes

Acknowledge where there is tension in your body or your mind. Now take five minutes for the following exercise where you envision the release of all tension throughout your mind, body, and soul.

Stand with your legs shoulder-width apart and solidly planted on the ground. Your arms should
be loose at your sides, and your body should feel relaxed but balanced and strong.

Now lean forward from your hips and let your upper body hang down toward the ground, with your arms
loose and fingertips dangling toward the floor.

Breathe deeply and relax your body incrementally so that your fingers come closer and closer to the floor
and your hips soften and release your torso.

Close your eyes and visualize your body being completely relaxed.

To come up without straining your back, remember to roll up slowly, one vertebra at a time, your head coming up last. Stand upright, relaxed, with your hands at your side. This is a good exercise for releasing tension.
